JADE is a Reaper: a spirit who hunts other ghosts and sends them to the unpopular afterworld Tarus. She is hellbent to achieve justice and redemption, no matter what the sacrifice.

ST. MORTIMUS THE INDEPENDENT is practically a god. Not only did he sponsor the hospitals, but he even created the first afterworld. To this day he rules Haven as an eternal symbol of ambition and independence.
